Kacey McCann, Esquire

Kacey McCann joined the firm in 2022 and is a practicing attorney licensed in Pennsylvania. Kacey was raised in the Princeton area and attended Rowan University in South Jersey. While at Rowan, Kacey was on the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse team. Kacey graduated from Rowan in three years with a Business Degree focusing on Human Resource Management. Kacey remained at Rowan and obtained a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. During her master’s program, Kacey deepened her understanding of how to analyze financial issues and how to create solutions. After obtaining both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Rowan University, Kacey attended the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor.

As a law student, Kacey was published in the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal, which is a national legal periodical published and edited by a staff of students chosen for membership based on their performance in a writing competition. Kacey’s publication analyzed the intersection of the Fair Labor Standards Act and professional sports. In addition to her work on the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal, Kacey was a member of Villanova’s Civil Justice Clinic providing pro bono legal services primarily in the area of family law, held an internship at family law firm in Philadelphia, and held an internship clerking for the Honorable Marilyn Heffley at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Before joining Zlock & Grisillo, Kacey gained experience working at the United States District Court in Philadelphia. During her time there, she gained experience in both criminal and civil matters. Kacey further gained experience in family matters including divorce, equitable distribution, support, custody, and protection from abuse while working at a Philadelphia family law firm as well as Zlock & Grisillo as a law clerk.

On the weekends, Kacey enjoys frequent trips to the Long Beach Island, New Jersey. In addition, Kacey enjoys cooking and spending time with family.
