Daniel Maschi is a practicing attorney licensed in Pennsylvania, whose background in real estate, wills and estate planning, and business law provides him with the unique skills and insight necessary to address many complex issues which can arise during the divorce process. Issues involving real estate, family-owned businesses, and inheritances often come up during the equitable distribution of marital assets, and therefore, having an attorney with a deep understanding of these areas is critical to getting a positive result.
Daniel was raised in Bedminster Township, located in the heart of Bucks County, and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Chester University. During college, Dan founded a chapter of a grass-roots non-profit dedicated to teaching students about their civil liberties, and worked for Pennsylvania State Representative Marguerite Quinn, representing Pennsylvania’s 143rd legislative district, which encompasses a large portion of Bucks County, including Doylestown.
After graduating from West Chester University, Daniel worked as a licensed real estate agent, was the recipient of multiple full scholarships, and ultimately attended Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor. As a law student, Daniel published an article for the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal, which is a national legal periodical published and edited by a staff of students chosen for membership based on their performance in a writing competition. Daniel’s publication analyzed antitrust issues in the sports of boxing and mixed martial arts, and his work earned him the editorial position of Managing Editor of Student Works. In addition to his editorial roles and publications, during his time at Villanova Daniel served as Vice President of the Real Estate Law Society, worked for a personal injury and family law firm, and held an internship clerking for the Honorable Thomas C. Branca of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.
Before joining the team at Zlock & Grisillo, Daniel worked as a general practice attorney at a local law firm, working in the areas of real estate and zoning, wills and estate planning, business law, and family law. His wide-ranging experience allows Daniel to effectively counsel clients on a diverse array of issues that can be implicated in divorce, as well as provide the legal services necessary to plan for the future, whether it be through handling real estate, drafting a will, or forming a business entity.
On the weekends, Daniel coaches Muay Thai kickboxing and women’s self-defense classes at a local mixed martial arts academy. His experience coaching and kickboxing directly translates to how Daniel practices law, as he is capable of both guiding clients through difficult negotiations, and, if necessary, fighting in court to achieve the best result possible.

Montgomery County Divorce Lawyer Helps Client in a Support Matter
Working with Dan has been a great overall experience. He stepped into my case last minute as the attorney handling my case had an emergency. He pulled over in his car to make sure he was able to fully pay attention and get me the results I needed. He was patient with me and my many questions and my anxiety. My case is ongoing but I’m glad I have Dan on my side.
Bucks County Child Custody and Support Matter
Everyone who works in the Zlock-Grisillo law firm are top notch from the staff to the lawyers, but during my custody case Dan went above and beyond in every way through almost 10 months of litigation. My case one of the longest in Bucks County history. From the start, Dan understood the challenges that I faced in trying to keep custody of my children and also fighting for their medical freedom. We quickly formed a game plan and worked together to find evidence and eventually a medical expert to testify on my behalf. Things did not always go our way in court, but that did not deter Dan, who reassessed our situation and together we worked to prepare for the next hearing. Dan knows PA law extremely well, but if there was something he was not familiar with, he and all his colleagues would work together to find the best legal path forward, because they care about all their clients. Dan always took the time to answer all my questions and explain the law. I learned so much about the legal process and was able to use that knowledge to help us as well. Dan treated me like a team member not just a client; often we had to work weekends and after hours to prepare but Dan always made himself available. He never gave up and together we persevered and got the right result for myself and my children. I won my case because he believed I was right, worked tirelessly, and was a very effective litigator. I don’t think I would have won with anyone else! I am very grateful that he was my lawyer.
